FAQs
There is currently a government grant of £350 per charging point socket. This is the port on the front of the charge point that supplies charging power to the vehicle. Note this would extend to £700 if the charge point was a double socketed model.
These grants are available for the following…
- Work Place Charging Scheme (WCS).
- EV charge point and infrastructure grants for landlords.
- EV charge point grant if you own or rent a flat.
- EV charge point grant for staff and fleets.

Please be aware that to qualify for these grants you must have either off-street parking or a dedicated parking Bay(s).
We install charge points at residential, industrial and commercial sites. For all of these category’s it is important that a survey is carried out to determine if the customers installation have the capacity to even accommodate a charge point. To that end we as a company will carry out a Free No Obligation Survey to ascertain this.
You can as long as the EV model(s) have the same Type 2 socket as the charging point socket. Type 2 sockets (7 x pins) are now the industry standard in the UK and Europe. That said there are still a smaller number of vehicles around that use the five pin Type 1 socket. With this type of socket a Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable would be required for your vehicle.

We do not manufacture any charge points but the most common length of time given by manufacturers is 3 years which starts from the day of installation. However, we would suggest consulting the manufacturer’s warranty conditions for confirmation and for clarity on inclusions/exclusions. If the charge point has been installed under one of the OZEV grant schemes then it must have a minimum of 3 years as standard.
